Understanding Aging Biomedical and Bioengineering Approaches
2008, Authors: S.M. Kaye, D. Stubbs
Soft Tissue Regeneration of Infected Wounds Following the Use of Microcurrent as the Sole Therapeutic Modality
We wish to present a series of clinically severe, intractable, and generally infected wound cases that clearly demonstrate the dramatic efficacy of introducing specific microcurrents as a sole therapeutic modality in comparison to the use of all standard wound-care techniques. Of equally great significance, it has been demonstrated that the precise quantitative rate of tissue regeneration in wounds receiving these currents exclusively does not change with the age of the patient, contrary to most other published studies. This holds true for individuals ranging in age from 20 to 80 years.

Bodihealth Technology is based upon the premise that the human body is essentially a highly complex, constantly transforming, and fully integrated energy system, not merely an anatomic structure subject only to the laws of mechanics and chemistry. Unlike other electronic medical devices, which simply jolt the nerves and tissues with high frequencies of electricity that bounce haphazardly through the body, EPRT devices generate a gentle steady stream of electrons that flow softly and smoothly throughout the body's internal energy network like water gliding slowly through a field of irrigation channels, permeating every tissue and saturating every cell with the healing energy and regenerative power of electrons. The following paper will discuss clinical experiences from using the device and some of the conditions treated.

Conference Journal 2003
From the promise of Robert Becker's work in the 70's to accomplishments of Bodihealth Technologies today, this lecture reviews the medical discoveries that influence the electrical condition of the human body leading to great advances in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders, injuries and disease. It will also discuss the medical research utilizing Bodihealth Technologies, cumulating in a technology that can create rapid wound healing and resolve acute and chronic pain.

The Spinal Cord Injured Patient
Authors: Prof. Bok Y. Lee, M.D & Lee E. Ostrander, PH.D
Excerpt from the book page 283
Recent research in utilizing the body's own energy is being carried out. This treatment uses a machine producing currents in the nanoampere range. It is thought that these currents, which produce specific waveforms, are able to stimulate mitochondrial DNA to produce the necessary energy to regenerate tissue and thus lead to rapid healing of these more intractable ulcers. A positive energy balance seems to be achieved in the body as a whole, and many patients treated by this method develop a feeling of well-being.
Preliminary studies show a rapid subsiding of edema, clearing of infection, ingrowth of epithelium, and healing of the wound. Concomitant pain seems to subside simultaneously. Results are obtained rapidly, and improvements are often noted within hours of the commencement of treatment. Early results in the research of this non-invasive therapy appear extremely promising.

The Wound Management Manual
Author: Prof. Bok Y. Lee
The healing effects of electricity have always been ill understood. However, with the advent of subatomic particle physics and the electron theory of electrical current, explanations of electricity acting as an antioxidant become more likely. In order to understand how electrical currents can function as an antioxidant, the formation and effects of free radicals and their interaction with antioxidants needs to be understood.

Excerpt from the book page 230
Electro PressureRegeneration Therapy (EPRT) provides manifold benefits to human health and longevity. The incoming bio-electric charge opens the energy meridians, increases energy flow and balances energy distribution throughout the system. It relieves pain, reduces inflammation, in the soft tissues of the body, promotes rapid healing of wounds and elevates immune response.
